On February 20, 2004, we held a seminar titled “Eastern-Western Medical Aspects of Well-being and the Well-being Value of Hydrotherapy and Its Potential as an Aesthetic Tool” in the lounge of the medical spa on the 7th floor of our Chamjin Oriental Medical Clinic. The presenters were Professor Ahn Gyu-seok, Dean of the Department of Oriental Medicine at Kyung Hee University; Professor Lee Su-jeong, Associate Professor of the Department of Neuropsychiatry at the Catholic University of Korea; Director Yang Il-hoon, Director of the Yang Il-hoon Aesthetic Academy; Director Lee Ho-dong, Director of the Lee Ho-dong Cosmetics Research Institute; and President Oh Eung-jun, the second president of Daejeon University, who gave congratulatory addresses. Each and every one of them is a renowned star in academia and industry, and we had a very meaningful time having them attend our Chamjin Oriental Medical Clinic’s first seminar and even give lectures. I would also like to express my gratitude once again to the wellness industry leaders, Western doctors, Oriental medicine doctors, and many reporters who participated as audience members. We will host a second seminar soon to provide another opportunity to hear valuable insights.
